Dr. Jennifer E. Obidah, Director joined the team at the Education Evaluation Centre in 2006. Before joining the Centre, Dr. Obidah was a professor of education at the University California, Los Angeles. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Sociology from Hunter College, New York, a M.A. in African American Studies from YaleUniversity, and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Obidah also has extensive experience in working with youth in the United States of America and Barbados.

Dr. Benita P. Thompson , a trained teacher, holds a Ph. D in Education, a Masters in Educational Administration and a B.A. (Hons) in History and Sociology with Education from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. Dr. Thompson is employed as a Research Assistant with the UWI Education Evaluation Centre.

She is currently employed as a Research Assistant at the University of the West Indies, Campus and is presently pursuing a Masters in Education.
