Students will be introduced to advanced applications using all components of desktop publishing. Course participants will learn desktop publishing terminology and concepts and create professional looking documents such as newsletters, brochures and promotional material.
This course will provide hands-on learning opportunities using Microsoft Publisher. It is designed to develop critical thinking, decision making and
creativity in planning, designing and evaluating business documents.
Image editing techniques using Corel Paint Shop Pro will also form a major component of the course.
