ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST 2008

Reminder Notice

All persons who have applied to write the English Proficiency Test are reminded that the test is scheduled for the following date and time:

Date: Monday, February 25, 2008

Time: 2.00 pm.

Venue: Cave Hill Campus

Applicants are reminded that they are required to present their receipts as proof of payment, at the test.

Students who fail the Proficiency Test will be required to register for FOUN 0100 which is being offered through the Language Learning Centre of the Faculty of Humanities and Education.

Students taking FOUN 0100 will be required to pay a fee of BDS $500.00 for the course.

You are reminded that only the following persons are exempted from taking the test.

• Persons who have received a Grade “A” in the Cambridge GCE O’ Level examination;
  
  
• Persons who have received a Grade “A” in the Alternative/Ordinary General Paper;
  
  
• Persons who have received a Grade “1" in the Cape Communication Studies Examination;
  
  
• Persons who have received a Grade “1" in the CXC General Proficiency English A Examination;
  
  
• Entrants to the Faculty of Law, who already hold a degree or a pass in English Literature at Advanced Level.
  
  

ALL OTHER APPLICANTS TO THE CAVE HILL CAMPUS ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE TEST
