CONFIGURING YOUR COMPUTER FOR BLACKBOARD

Before you log in to the system you should ensure that any computer on which you will be accessing your WebCT6 courses is fully configured to support the smooth functioning of WebCT6.

You should follow the instructions and make the necessary adjustments to your system, especially as relates to popup blockers and installing the compatible version of JAVA (after uninstalling all other versions).

This process may be a bit tedious but it will help to ensure that you have no problems navigating your course sites and accessing materials. In addition, when you first log in to WebCT, you should run a browser check by clicking on the "Browser Check" link at the top right of the log in screen to verify that all is well and you are ready to go.
