The library stocks books and material in a variety of subject areas:

The University Centre Library caters primarily to students and tutors connected to this Centre. However, library service may be made available to other persons, for example, students and teachers of other local educational institutions. The library is NOT a public library.

Following are the membership rules:

1    All registered students are eligible to become library members. Membership allows students the full use of the library. Membership fee is EC$50.00.

2    Registered students who are non-members and all other persons not eligible for membership but who wish to use the resources will be required to pay a user fee of EC$20 per year. This fee allows access to library materials for use in the library ONLY.

3    Circulation: Two (2) books may be borrowed at any one time.

• Some books may be borrowed for a seven day period;
• Others on three day loans and;
• Some reference material on overnight loans;
• Seven day loans are renewable once.

4    Reference material, Journals and Periodicals may NOT be removed from the library.

5    Services: Photocopying services may be available at a cost of 25¢ per copy. Internet access is also available, on an arranged basis.

6    Overdue Books: Fines will be charged for overdue books. Books not returned within 1 week of the due date will be registered as lost and the borrower will be asked to pay full costs of replacement. The borrower will be liable for any loss or damage to any library book in his/her possession.
