This paper is about Education and Economic Development in state of St. Kitts and Nevis. We present a contemporary look. The contemporary look is based on how technology could be harnessed to advance the educational system and process in the state of St. Kitts and Nevis. The harnessing of the new technology must be along the cutting edge of technology, such that the state benefits from the new broad bands of technological development. Contemporary education is being disseminated through broad bands of technological development. We contend that all of our countries in the Caribbean region have to devise an education strategy that will access the technology, if we are not to get left behind on the technological dunghill. Our focus will be, therefore, on developing some points why this new system is critical in the educational process, and why access to the technology is crucial in the new age of "knowledge management".
