The TLIU exists to facilitate the University's links with other tertiary level institutions in the region, and to assist those institutions in their own development.
At present various kinds of link exist:
In many other cases, particular qualifications awarded by TLIs in the Caribbean are accepted as equivalent to 'A' or 'O' levels or CXC qualifications for matriculation purposes.
The TLIU is actively involved with several proposals for new or extended links with institutions in the region.
At the moment the TLIU is based at Cave Hill, and has an office at Mona.
