Following
is a break-down of the costs of accommodation and average
living expenses for a student staying at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies.
Note:
All costs are quoted in BDS$, $USD 1.00 = $BDS 2.00.
The prices shown are calculated based on a period of 16 weeks from August 26
- December 21, 2007 for Semester 1, and a period of 17 weeks from January 14 - May
15, 2008 for Semester 2. This does not include the Christmas break. Any additional period must be paid for separately at the relevant daily rate.
The
figures given for off-campus accommodation and living expenses are
estimates based on current market prices.

the academic year, should make provision for the cost of return
airfare.

expenses in Barbados. Scholarship, Bursary and other award holders
