BUSINESS ANALYST IN THE OPEN CAMPUS

Applications are invited for the position of Business Analyst in the UWI Open Campus.

.REQUIREMENTS

• The successful applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline, with proven practical experience in working in project teams in a distributed environment, good interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and good time-management skills.
• Ideally the Business Analyst will have knowledge of the academic and administrative environment within UWI and have training, certification and experience in Business Analysis for information systems development. Knowledge and experience of open source software development processes would be an asset.

The Business Analyst, who will work with the Software Architect in the Office of the CIO, will be the primary interface between the functional departments and the IT department of the Open Campus.

ACADEMIC LEVEL: Assistant Lecturer.

  WORK LOCATION

Although this position will be physically located within the Open Campus in Trinidad, the successful applicant may be required to travel throughout the Caribbean as part of his/her job responsibilities.
