About Us
The ARMP is part of the University Archives and Records Management Programme (UARMP) which is charged with providing professional, efficient and consistent handling of the University’s records and archives. The programme implements records and archives management policies and procedures based on recognized international principles and practices. The activities of the programme include the creation and receipt, organization, distribution, maintenance, appraisal, retention and disposition of University records. The programme is also responsible for the systematic transfer of records to the Campus Archives for the preservation, arrangement, description and provision of reference services to facilitate research into university records.

The programme is headed by the University Archivist who is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, directing, administering and operating the University Archives and Records Management Programme for the university at large.

On each Campus the Archives and Records Management Programme falls under the ambit of the Campus Registrar with the Campus Records Manager/Archivist responsible for the administration of the programme.

The Campus Records Manager at Cave Hill is responsible for several units; namely, Registry Records Services formerly referred to as the File Registry, Office Management, Campus Records Centre, Cave Hill Campus Archives and the W.I.
