About Us: Meet our PhD Candidate
Ms. Jenna Blackwood is the recipient of the Shell/UWI Graduate scholarship for 2010. She will use the award to pursue a PhD in Environmental Studies at the Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies in the Water Resources Management stream.
Sparked by her interest in recent flooding events in the region, Ms. Blackwood will be investigating issues related to Stormwater Management in select Caribbean islands.
Ms. Blackwood holds degrees from the University of Florida and UWI Cave Hill, as well as a diploma from the College of Arts, Science and Technology in Jamaica.
