Final year UNDERGRADUATE FULL-TIME students eligible for passage, and who will be leaving Barbados after their final examinations in Semester I and Semester II are asked to comply with the following instructions:
ELIGIBILITY FOR TICKET REIMBURSEMENT
- Students must be registered FULL-TIME
- Must be residing in a contributing Caribbean country
- Have completed the full course of study
- Must not be receiving sponsorship which covers ticket cost
- All Students are required to submit a copy of their return ticket with the appropriate form (PDF) at least four (4) weeks before the proposed date of travel or up to 3 months after completion of studies to Ms. Layne, Student Affairs (Admissions) by email to AdmServices@cavehill.uwi.edu.
The following must be visible for all copies of airline tickets submitted:
- Your Name
- Itinerary
- Full cost
- a breakdown of ALL FEES & TAXES
- All refunds will be deposited to your UWI student account. The Student Accounts Section of the Bursary will contact you regarding disbursement of same.
Post Graduate students are required to submit after their degree has been awarded.

NB. In the event that items are shipped, receipts along with the appropriate form should be emailed to Ms. Layne. Simirlaly, any receipts for payments made at the airport for Extra Baggage, can be forwarded with the appropriate form to Student Affairs (Admissions), UWI, Cave Hill Campus, P.O. Box 64, Bridgetown BB11000, Barbados or emailed to
AdmServices@cavehill.uwi.edu.
