Bio

In 2005, Dr. Depradine won the first UWI (Cave Hill Campus)/Guardian General Insurance Premium Teaching Award. He then won the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2008 and the Campus’ first Teaching and Learning Champion Award in 2013.

He teaches courses in Advanced Programming and Human-Computer Interaction. His primary area of research is Human Computer Interaction, focusing on universal design techniques for the creation of software for science education and administration, with a special emphasis on users with learning disabilities.

Dr. Depradine is currently a Senior Lecturer of Computer Science at the University of the West Indies (UWI) - Cave Hill Campus, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, as well as an advocate for persons with learning disabilities.
