About the Programme
The Faculty of Science and Technology offers, through our Affiliates at the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH), the MPhil/PhD. degree in Meteorology, which is supervised by staff members from the CIMH.
What Will I Study?
Students may opt to pursue research from within any of several areas which include (but are not limited to) Numerical Weather Prediction, Aerosols and Air Quality, Tropical Meteorology, Hydrometeorology, Statistical Forecasting, Remote Sensing, Short and Long-term Forecasting, Climate Variability and Climate Change.
Students are required to successfully complete a minimum of six (6) credits of coursework for the MPhil, or nine (9) credits of coursework for the PhD.
Students in the MPhil and PhD degree programmes should discuss with their Supervisor suitable courses which would satisfy the credit requirements. Ideally, courses should be completed in the first year.

Additional Information
Staff members at CIMH also supervise and/or co-supervise graduate students in other disciplines of the Faculty such as Environmental Studies and Computer Science.
