The University of the West Indies (The UWI) through its Medical Alumni Association (UWIMAA) has launched an Endowment of US$1.5 million.

Newly inducted Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal of The University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, Professor Clive Landis has pledged to draw on The UWI’s strategic vision of driving Caribbean development to position the Cave Hill Campus as a pillar of innovation in Barbados. 

A new book addressing the challenges of the Coronavirus in the CARICOM region features chapters written by experts from The University of the West Indies (The UWI).

The University of the West Indies (The UWI) and Norway’s University of Bergen (UiB) formalised ongoing collaborations with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Saturday, November 13. In this MOU, the two universities committed to advancing research and action on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals 13 (Climate action) and 14 (Life Below Water).

The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) was one of the 2021 beneficiaries of the third iteration of The UWI TradeLab Clinic. For this initiative, third-year law students from the Cave Hill Campus who participated in the Clinic produced thirty-four (34) summaries of the decisions of the Court issued in the Original Jurisdiction between 2008 and 2020.
