Consultancies and Technical Assistance

The Institute provides technical assistance to governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and provides consultancy services in the areas of economics, sociology, management, political science and public administration. Members of the Institute have undertaken consultancy work for local, regional and international organizations.

Institutional Needs Assessment and Inmate Survey of the Barbados Prison System (for the Inter-American Development Bank)
A needs assessment and an inmate survey, of both convicted and remand offenders, in the Barbados correctional system.

Executive Opinion Survey-Global Competitiveness Report (for the World Economic Forum, Switzerland)
An annual survey of business owners to gauge the competitiveness of the country.

Economic Impact Assessment of CARIFESTA XIII (for the Government of Barbados)
Project to estimate the value of the CARIFESTA festival to the economy of Barbados and to the development of the cultural industries in the region.
