Call for Abstracts

The Caribbean represents the most fertile athletic region in the world, with outstanding performances in various disciplines at the highest level. It is for this reason that sporting professionals within the Caribbean endeavour to develop elite athletes who will continually dominate international sport.

The Sport Sciences Programme at The University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus augments the further development, professionalism and transformation of sport in the Caribbean by enhancing the region’s repertoire of sport training specialists. As we take the bold and exciting step to host the inaugural Caribbean Sport Conference, we welcome your assistance, participation and dialogue on an industry that is charged with new and existing possibilities.

The Caribbean Sport Conference will take place September 29 to October 1, 2016 at the UWI Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
