Working in a Remote World

The working world continues to change rapidly and increasingly integrates technology. Further, recent graduates may feel underprepared to navigate these changes. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, some work environments have completely changed. Therefore, it is important to prepare to successfully participate in this new environment. Also, businesses are facing some level of financial impact which impacts job opportunities, hiring and development. For many students this is a stressful and uncertain time and students are graduating each year.  

Some students report feeling anxious about entering a new work environment and then COVID-19 added new and additional levels of concerns. Questions such as “Are there enough jobs for all of us? How do I stay appealing to recruiters when almost everything is virtual? Is my online presence appealing and what story does it tell about me?” 

We are going to guide you through these questions and provide tips and resources to get you ready for today’s world.
